Let’s just say our biggest funder for MSS was Allah SWT Alhamdulillah. I just want to thank Him for making this possible.

Back in November 2022, I had an idea to make a community group on WhatsApp with sisters from around the globe talking about Islam, sharing reminders, and being inspired to do better for the sake of Allah.

Alhamdulillah, I noticed that over time the number of participants in the community started to grow however the spam was getting real!

Although it was pretty all over the place and I didn’t think it would grow to be big, I had sisters reach out to me saying how much this community group on Whatsapp had benefitted them Alhamdulillah.

From this, Allah SWT gave me the idea to use this community group to do something better and impactful and this is when I decided to call this sisterhood of supportive women the “Muslimah Support System” because really and truly the name represents the connection of our sisterhood.

What I truly admired so much about this sisterhood is the fact that despite not knowing one another, coming from all walks of life and all around the world, the love of Islam and our passion to strive to please Allah SWT created unity, this unbreakable bond that can’t be broken because it is out of the love of Allah SWT.

MSS is solely based on voluntary commitment as we firmly believe that regardless of age, financial situation and location, all sisters have the right to learn and seek knowledge about Islam whilst improving their relationship with Allah SWT.

We have 4 major communities in MSS: the Islamic circle (Sharing Islamic reminders, Islamic advice and knowledge), the Social circle (where sisters can socialise and make friends), the Qur’an circle (where we provide free Qur’an, Tajweed & Hifdh lessons as well as doing independent Tafseer using online videos) and lastly the Book Club (where we read Islamic related books and discuss as well as providing sisters the opportunity to write articles they would like to share with the world!) 

As you can see, we offer a lot of opportunities whilst all of this being online based and free!

Alhamdulillah, I am truly beyond grateful to Allah SWT for giving me the opportunity to grow MSS (currently over 1000+ sisters) and have an excellent leadership team of beautiful sisters to help lead their communities in MSS for the sake of Allah SWT and of course, I would love for you to meet these lovely sisters and read about their role and experience at MSS. Meet the Team!
